THE STEADIES:
The Steadies aren’t invited to the party—they ARE the party. But even more than that, their feel-good music and positive vibe brings people together of all ages, races and genders. Mixing dance-rock with pop and reggae influences, this high energy Canadian band created their own signature sound they’ve dubbed, ‘island rock.’ They are also no strangers to Kelowna having built up a loyal fanbase, spreading their message of love through their fun and electrifying performances. After working relentlessly for over 12 years, the band deservingly won the 2023 Sask Music Award for ‘Rock Artist of the Year’.

Over their career The Steadies have released 7 albums/EPs and performing nearly 1000 shows having opened for iconic acts such as Ziggy Marley, The Roots, The Wailers, and more. 2023 was the band’s biggest year yet having released 3 singles; a ‘Best Of’ album; a live album, completed their first tour of Mexico, headlined major festivals and events including the TSN Labour Day Classic Half-Time Show at Mosaic Stadium, and rocked crowds of over 70,000 people.
Frontman and bassist Earl Pereira is a 3-Time JUNO Nominee and former founder of Canadian rock royalty Wide Mouth Mason. “I’ve been a professional touring musician and recording artist for over 25 years but feel like I’m at the top of my game right now. I feel so fortunate to have a kick-ass band that’s on the rise and I’m so excited for a massive 2024′!
GOLDMYND:
Gold Mynd is a Jamaican reggae artist with roots in Kelowna. His passion for music ignited at a young age. After completing high school at Jamaica College, he founded his music label, “Mynd Creation Ltd,” and established a recording studio in his home. His debut mixtape, “My Life,” featuring standout hits like “Married to Success” and “Soundtrack,” showcased his talent and vision. In 2017, Gold Mynd migrated to Canada, where he continued to evolve his sound. His 2019 single, “No Title No Label,” delivered a powerful message of authenticity and non-judgment. In 2020, he released the EP “The Mimosa Mixtape Volume 1,” blending hip-hop beats with his signature reggae style. Additionally, Gold Mynd’s album “Love & Life,” dropped in April 2023, garnered acclaim for its vibrant reggae sound and meaningful lyrical content. His latest project, the “Life Lessons” EP, released in 2024, further solidifies his position as a dynamic and introspective artist.

T>G discovered his musical talent at age 12 in Spanish Town, Jamaica, singing for his sister Robin under a coconut tree; it was his passion and his lifeline in an environment often marred by negativity. Influenced by Bob Marley, Busta Rhymes, and Sizzla Kalonji, T>G blends reggae, hip-hop, and dancehall into a unique sound that captivates global audiences.
Now based in Kelowna, BC, Canada, T>G continues to evolve as an artist, sharing music with themes of love, dedication, and resilience. He aims to inspire the next generation and spread messages of unity and positivity worldwide. With each song and performance, T>G is set to leave a lasting impact on the world stage.

MistahD (Dalias Blake) discovered the transformative power of music at an early age, nurtured within the vibrant environment of the church. This initial awakening sparked a journey that saw him proficiently playing instruments, crafting songs and poetry, and eventually stepping onto stages alongside notable artists like The Wailers. His artistic evolution has been marked by headline performances and a commitment to nurturing emerging talent through his artist development company, Launch Code Productions Inc. As MistahD continues to carve his path, his multifaceted presence in the industry encompasses performing, producing, writing, and promoting promising artists.
J-BIRD:
J Byrd, born Janelle Mighty, was raised on the vibrant island of Jamaica. Surrounded by the rich musical culture of her island home, she was drawn to the rhythmic beats and soulful melodies that filled the air. This fueled her passion for the performing arts and fostered her love for music.J Byrd currently calls Kelowna British Columbia home and has been performing all around the Okanagan region. Her soulful voice coupled with her infectious energy on stage continues to garner much attention.
