Psychedelic rock meets jazz fusion for one unmissable night.
On Thursday, March 6th, Mother Sun and The Jazz Implication take over Red Bird Brewing for an evening of genre-blurring, mind-expanding live music. This free show runs from 7pm – 9pm, bringing together two bands known for their adventurous sounds and high-energy performances.
🎸 Mother Sun – Hailing from Kamloops, this four-piece blends dreamy psych, trippy folk, motorik power pop, and jazz-influenced art rock into something truly unique. With their latest album ‘Meadow 6’ released via Earth Libraries and Divine Bovine Records, and fresh off a tour in Japan, Mother Sun continues to push the boundaries of modern psychedelic rock. Their music has landed on Showtime’s Shameless and seen them share stages with The Sadies, Dead Ghosts, and Ghostwoman.
🎺 The Jazz Implication – Based in Salmon Arm, this genre-defying fusion ensemble draws from hip hop, afrobeat, and modern jazz, creating a dynamic and energetic sound. Led by Liam Nadurak (trumpet) alongside a powerhouse rhythm section, they bring an innovative take on jazz fusion that keeps audiences hooked.
